NC ahead of UML by 5361 votes in Biratnagar mayoral race

BIRATNAGAR: MAY. 20 – The Nepali Congress has increased its lead by 5361 votes until the final Biratnagar Metropolitan City poll results are made public.

While Nagesh Koirala of Nepali Congress secured 20795 votes as the mayor of Biratnagar Metropolitan City, Sagar Kumar Thapa of CPN-UML got 15434 votes following him. Independent candidate Umesh Kumar Yadav’s Laltin has obtained 15434 votes.

Shilpa Nirala Karki of CPN-UML secured 15434 votes while Amarendra Yadav of JSP polled 10394 votes.
