Maoist Center’s Renu continues to lead in Bharatpur

KATHMANDU: MAY. 20 – Renu Dahal, the alliance’s mayoral candidate in Bharatpur Metropolitan City, has maintained her lead.

Dahal has obtained 20,143 votes.

Similarly, Bijay Subedi of the CPN-UML obtained 16,870 votes.

Jagannath Poudel, an independent candidate for mayor, secured 7,753 votes.

Chitrasen Adhikari, a Nepali Congress deputy mayor candidate, polled 22,403 votes.

Himala Gurung, the RPP candidate, secured 13163 votes.
