NC wins mayor & UML deputy mayor in Sitganga
From the alliance, Congress' Chhabilal Poudel won the mayoral post with 10,078 votes.
KATHMANDU: MAY. 19 – Congress has won the post of chief of Sitganga Municipality of Arghakhanchi and UML has won the post of deputy chief.
From the alliance, Congress’ Chhabilal Poudel won the mayoral post with 10,078 votes.
His nearest rival Basanta Kumar Shrestha of the CPN (UML) lost with 9,892 votes.
Similarly, UML’s Geeta Bhat has won the Deputy Chief by getting 10,288 votes.
Her nearest rival Tika Bahadur Regmi of the CPN (Maoist Center) polled 8,057 votes.
