Dahal leads with 3,080 more votes than Subedi

KATHMANDU: MAY. 19 – Renu Dahal, the alliance’s mayoral candidate in Bharatpur Metropolitan City, has maintained her lead.

Dahal has obtained 15,491 votes out of a total of 40,712 votes counted so far.

Similarly, Bijay Subedi of the CPN-UML obtained 12,411 votes. Dahal currently leads with 3,080 more votes than Subedi.

Jagannath Poudel, an independent candidate for mayor, secured 6,389 votes.

Chitrasen Adhikari, a Nepali Congress deputy mayor candidate, polled 17,905 votes.

Himala Gurung, the RPP candidate, secured 9,978 votes.
