NC in Itahari chief, UML ahead in deputy chief

BIRATNAGAR: MAY. 19 – In Itahari Sub-Metropolitian of Sunsari, Nepali Congress is leading in the chief while UML is leading in the deputy chief with about 7,000 votes.

While the latest poll results are being made public, the Nepali Congress has maintained its lead with 18,455 votes for the post of chief. UML managed to get only 15463 votes.

UML has won the Deputy Chief by getting 17652 votes. On behalf of the coalition, the CPN-U polled only 10,704 votes.
