BIRATNAGAR: MAY. 19 – Nepali Congress has won in Budhiganga Rural Municipality of Morang district.

Jit Narayan Thapa Magar of the Nepali Congress won the post of municipality chairperson with 8299 votes, while Amrita Kumari Gachchhadar of the Nepali Congress won the post of vice-chairperson with 9050 votes.

Bal Bhadra Sardar Tharu of the CPN-UML was elected vice-chairperson with 7880 votes, while Tulasi Kumari Kuwar of the UML was defeated with 6222 votes.
