UML leader Lekhraj Bhatta’s brother defeated for the second time

KATHMANDU: MAY. 18 – Gokarna Bhatta, brother of CPN-UML secretary Lekhraj Bhatta, has been defeated for the post of mayor of Kailali’s Godawari Municipality.

Bhatta, who lost the UCPN (Maoist) election to the post of mayor in the 2074 BS election, has been defeated again this time. In the previous election, UML candidate Hari Singh Saud was elected mayor of Godawari.

He couldn’t be mayor this time even after rising from UML.
