Balen is 8145 votes ahead of Sthapit

KATHMANDU: MAY. 18 – Independent candidate for mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City Balen Shah has been continuously widening the gap of votes.

According to the latest results, Balen polled 16,943 votes. Keshav Sthapit of CPN-UML, Balen’s nearest rival, got 8,798 votes.

Nepali Congress’ Sirjana Singh has secured 7,895 votes. Balen has a distance of 8,145 votes from Sthapit and 9,048 votes from Sirjana.
