NC wins in Jahada of Morang
He had defeated the previous chairperson Kailash by nearly 2,000 votes.
BIRATNAGAR: MAY. 18 – Jitendra Prad Sah of Nepali Congress has been elected in Jahada Rural Municipality of Morang district.
He defeated JSP candidate Kailash Prasad Mandal Gangai. While Sah got 6501 votes, Gangai got only 4048 votes.
He had defeated the previous chairperson Kailash by nearly 2,000 votes.
Even in the vice-chairperson candidate of the Nepali Congress has been elected.
Hanna Soren of Nepali Congress got 5545 votes while Gulab Kumari Mahato of CPN-Maoist got only 3512 votes.
