Alliance wins in Marin of Sindhuli
The UCPN (Maoist) has won in six of the seven wards of Marin and UML in one.
KATHMANDU: MAY. 18 – The alliance has won the chairmanship of Marin Rural Municipality of Sindhuli.
Bimarsh Moktan of the UCPN (Maoist) from the alliance won the election by getting 5,194 votes. His nearest rival Govindlal Majhi of the CPN-UML got 4,760 votes.
Similarly, Bimala Majhi of Nepali Congress has won the election with 5281 votes for the post of vice-chairperson.
The UCPN (Maoist) has won in six of the seven wards of Marin and UML in one.
