UML’s victory in Phikkal of Sindhuli

UML has won in four of the six wards of Phikkal, UCPN (Maoist) in one and Congress in one.

KATHMANDU: MAY. 18 – CPN-UML’s Parbati Sunuwar and Raju Baral have been elected as the chairperson and vice-chairperson of Phikkal Rural Municipality respectively.

Sunuwar got 4,062 votes and Baral got 4,256 votes. Sunuwar’s nearest rival Nirpa Bahadur Bhujel of the Nepali Congress got 4,017 votes and his nearest rival Lokendra Bahadur Karki of the CPN (Maoist Center) got 3,426 votes.

UML has won in four of the six wards of Phikkal, UCPN (Maoist) and Congress in one each.
