Renu Dahal leads with 9801 votes in Bharatpur

KATHMANDU: MAY. 18 – Renu Dahal, the alliance’s mayoral candidate in Chitwan’s Bharatpur Metropolitan City, is leading with 1617 votes.

Renu Dahal secured 9,801 votes out of 27,026 votes counted in Bharatpur, while UML candidate Bijay Subedi secured 8,184 votes.

Jagannath Poudel, an independent candidate for mayor, polled 4439 votes.

Chitrasen Adhikari of the Nepali Congress has secured 11740 votes for the post of deputy mayor, while Himla Gurung of the RPP has received 6668 votes.
