Balen leads the race for Mayor of Kathmandu with 15,000 votes

KATHMANDU: MAY. 18 – Independent candidate Balen Sah has been increasing the number of votes in Kathmandu Metropolitan City. He is ahead of UML mayoral candidate Keshav Sthapit by 7,522 votes.

Sah secured 15,775 votes while Sthapit secured 8,253 votes.

Sirjana Singh, a Congress candidate, is in third place with 6900 votes.

The vote count is still ongoing.
