BIRATNAGHAR: MAY. 18 – Rastriya Prajatantra Party’s Suryalal Yadav has won the Biratnagar-13 ward chairmanship by 59 votes.
According to the results of the public vote on Wednesday morning, Yadav was elected as the ward chairperson with 628 votes.
When Yadav won the ward chairmanship, his nearest rival Amod Kumar Jha of the Nepali Congress got 569 votes. Kishor Kumar Pokhrel a ward chairperson candidate of the CPN (UML) and Jharilal Mahato of the JSP limited to 388 votes.
Biratnagar-13 was won by the JSP in the 2074 BS local elections.
