Syangwo polled 4,669 votes while his nearest rival CPN-UML's Meharman Tamang lost with 4,322 votes.
KATHMANDU: MAY. 18 – Mani Kumar Syangwo (Subas) of Nepali Congress has been elected as the chairperson of Rong Rural Municipality of Ilam.
Syangwo polled 4,669 votes while his nearest rival CPN-UML’s Meharman Tamang lost with 4,322 votes.
Bishnumaya Khawas of CPN (UML) was elected as the vice-chairperson defeating Kalpana Khanal of the Nepali Congress.
