UML wins in Bagnaskali of Palpa

KATHMANDU: MAY. 18 – UML candidate has won in Bagnaskali Rural Municipality of Palpa district. CPN-UML’s Saraswati Darlami (Chidi) has won the post of chairperson and UML’s Hari Pathak has won the post of vice-chairperson.

Darlami, who won the election for the post of chairperson, has secured 6,466 votes. Sunita Adhikari of the Nepali Congress, who is contesting from her nearest rival alliance, got 5,633 votes.

In Baganaskali, both the UML and the Nepali Congress fielded women candidates. Similarly, UML Pathak got 5,873 votes for the post of vice-chairperson. His nearest rival Khimananda Pandey (Kamal) of the CPN-U polled 4,778 votes.
