Renu leads with 1,369 votes in Bharatpur

KATHMANDU: MAY. 18 – Renu Dahal of the UCPN (Maoist) is contesting for the post of Mayor of Chitwan’s Bharatpur Metropolitan City from the ruling coalition CPN-UML has got 1369 votes more than Bijay Subedi.

Dahal secured 9405 votes, while Subedi secured 8037 votes.

Jagannath Poudel, an independent candidate for mayor, secured 4248 votes.

Chitrasen Adhikari of the Congress secured 11,196 votes for deputy mayor, while Himala Gurung of the RPP secured 6,548 votes.
