Nagesh widens lead in Biratnagar

BIRATNAGAR: MAY. 18 – Until the last poll results of Biratnagar Metropolitan City are made public, the Nepali Congress has maintained its lead of 2749.

Nagesh Koirala of the Nepali Congress secured 11699 votes for the post of the chief, while Sagar Kumar Thapa of the CPN-UML secured 8950 votes.

Similarly, the CPN-UML is leading the race for deputy chief with 3993 votes.

Shilpa Niroula Karki of the CPN-UML secured 10262 votes for the post of deputy chief, while Amarendra Yadav of the JSP secured 6269 votes.
