Balen leading with 14,445 votes, Sirjana following Keshav

KATHMANDU: MAY. 18 – Independent candidate for the Kathmandu Metropolitan City Balen Shah has maintained the lead.

He is ahead of UML mayoral candidate Keshav Sthapit by 6593 votes.

Sah secured 14,445 votes while Sthapit secured 7,852 votes.

Sirjana Singh, a Congress candidate, is in third place with 6900 votes.

The vote count is still ongoing.
