UML’s Ingnam & Adhikari win in Kanepokhari of Morang

BIRATNAGAR: MSY. 17 – CPN-UML has won in Morang district’s Kanepokhari Rural Municipality.

Rajmati Ingnam was previously elected vice-chairperson but was elected chairperson this time. According to the Returning Officer’s Office, Ingnam received 8975 votes and was elected chairperson. She defeated Nepali Congress candidate Sanjay Bhattarai. Only 5846 votes were cast for Bhattarai.

Bhola Prasad Adhikari of UML was also elected vice-chairperson. While he got 9570 votes, Man Kumari Gurung of the Nepali Congress got 7818 votes.
