19 new cases in past 24 hours

KATHMANDU: MAY. 17 – COVID-19 infection has been confirmed in 19 more people in Nepal.

Of the 3,565 PCR tests conducted across the country, 18 COVID-19 infections were confirmed and 1 COVID-19 infection was confirmed during 632 antigen tests.

No COVID-related deaths have been reported, according to the health ministry.

Similarly, 9 lakh 66 thousand 9 hundred 21 people have been cured in Nepal so far with the recovery of 18 more infected people.

At present, there are 149 active infected in isolation in Nepal, according to the Ministry.
