UML’s Surendra Kumar Udas wins Shadananda’s mayorship

BHOJPUR: MAY. 17 – CPN-UML’s Surendra Kumar Udas has won the mayorship of Shadananda Municipality in Bhojpur.

Udas secured 6,772 votes, while Birbal Rai of the Nepali Congress secured 5,757 votes.

Similarly, Pramila Rai of CPN-Maoist has been elected as the Deputy Mayor. She secured 7,257 votes, while her nearest rival Marika Rai of UML got 4,358 votes.
