Renu took the lead with almost 200 votes in Bharatpur

KATHMANDU: MAY. 17 – Renu Dahal, the CPN-Maoist alliance’s mayoral candidate, has taken the lead.

After 19,383 votes were counted in the metropolitian, Dahal has secured 6,524 votes. Bijay Subedi of the CPN-UML came in second with 6326 votes.

Renu currently has a 198-vote lead in Bharatpur, according to the most recent results.

Jagannath Poudel, an independent candidate, polled  3181 votes.
