UML wins Mayor/Deputy Mayor of Lamjung’s Besisahar
Guman Singh Aryal has won the post of mayor and Gurung has won the post of deputy mayor.
LAMJUNG: MAY. 17 – CPN-UML has won both the mayor and deputy mayor of Lamjung’s Besisahar Municipality.
Guman Singh Aryal has won the post of mayor and Gurung has won the post of deputy mayor.
Aryal was elected mayor with 9,479 votes, while his rival Shrikant Ghimire of the Nepali Congress got 7,471 votes.
Gurung, who was elected as the deputy mayor, got 8,714 votes, while her nearest rival Hari Jung Tamang of the CPN-Maoist Center got 4,699 votes.
