UML’s Chintan Tamang wins in Dhankuta
Chintan Tamang was elected mayor with 7666 votes.
KATHMANDU: MAY. 17 – Communist Party of Nepal (UML) has won in Dhankuta municipality.
Chintan Tamang was elected mayor with 7666 votes, defeating Nepali Congress candidate Dinesh Rai. Rai got 7652 votes.
Similarly, the CPN-UML leads in the Deputy Mayor race. Bhima Devi Khanal of the UML defeated Ganesh Bahadur Bista of the CPN-Maoist by 7196 votes.
He was elected with 6629 votes.
