KATHMANDU: MAY. 17 – The results of 282 municipalities elections for local level members have been made public. Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, CPN-Maoist Center, CPN-Unified Socialist, JSP, and some independents have won the position so far.

According to the most recent figures, the Congress won 128 seats, the UML 78, the UCPN (Maoist) 61, the CPN-Unified Socialist Party 4 seats, the JSP 3 seats, and 8 municipalities.

The Congress is leading in the places where votes are being counted, while the UML, the Maoist Center, and the Unified Socialists are in second, third, and fourth place, respectively.

Congress is leading in 177 seats while UML is leading in 115 seats. Similarly, the Maoist Center has secured 54 seats, the CPN-U has secured 17 seats, the JSP has secured 30 seats and the Democratic Socialist Party has secured 10 seats. Others are ahead in 23 places.
