UML wins in Panini of Arghakhanchi

KATHMANDU: MAY. 17 – UML candidate has won in Panini Rural Municipality of Arghakhanchi. According to the Election Commission, Communist Party of Nepal (UML) candidate Tekraj Neupane has emerged victorious in the local level election 2079 BS.

He was elected with 7,749 votes. By 721 votes, he defeated his nearest rival, Nepali Congress candidate Achyut Gautam.

Narmada Gautam (Poudel) of UML has been elected vice-chairperson. She got 7,661 votes. Her nearest rival Laxmi Gautam of the Nepali Congress polled 7,038 votes.
