Alliance continues to move forward despite 11 thousand vote counts of Pokhara

POKHARA: MAY. 16 – So far, 11,197 votes have been counted in Pokhara Metropolitan City.

Coalition candidates continue to lead. Dhanraj Acharya of UCPN (Maoist) is in the first position with 4,478 votes while Krishna Thapa of UML is following with 4,124 votes.

In the race for deputy mayor, UML is ahead. Manju Devi Gurung of the UML got 4,714 votes, while Congress’ Kopira Ranabhat got 4,570 votes.

UML won Pokhara 1 while Nepali Congress won panels 2 and 12.
