Nepal Workers’ and Peasants’ Party’s ‘Clean Sweep’, Prajapati won by getting 9 times more votes in Bhaktapur

KATHMANDU: MAY. 16 – Nepal Workers’ and Peasants’ Party has ‘Clean Sweep’ the mayor of Bhaktapur Municipality of Bhaktapur.

Nepal Workers’ and Peasants’ Party has ‘Clean Sweep’ all the posts in Bhaktapur from ward member to mayor.

Along with the Nepali Congress, CPN-UML, CPN-Maoist Center, JSP and other parties are also competing for the post.

Outgoing mayor Sunil Prajapati has got 29,200 votes.

His nearest rival Ram Prasad Kasula of the Nepali Congress got 3352 votes.
