Youth killed by lightning struck in Jhapa

KATHMANDU: MAY. 16 – A young man has died after being struck by lightning along with incessant rain on Sunday night.

Vhena Hashda, 26, of Haldibari Rural Municipality-2, has been identified as the deceased.

Basanta Pathak, a spokesperson for the District Police Office in Jhapa, stated that he was struck by lightning while he was on his way to the restroom at night.
