Shahi victory of UCPN (M) in Mudkechula of Dolpa
Similarly, UCPN (M) won in Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, and 9, while UML only won in Ward 6.
SURKHET: MAY. 16 – Datta Bahadur Shahi of the CPN-Maoist has been elected chairperson of the Dolpa district’s Mudkechula Rural Municipality.
Shahi of the Maoist center won with 1,403 votes. His nearest rival CPN-UML’s Lanka Bahadur Rokaya got 1,367 votes.
Duda Rokaya, a Maoist, also won the vice-chairperson post with 1,458 votes.
Sabita Kumari Rokaya of the UML got only 1,298 votes.
Similarly, UCPN (M) won in Wards 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, and 9, while UML only won in Ward 6.
