Coalition wins in Kummayak of Panchthar
Nepali Congress candidate Bam Prasad Lawati and Mahendra Bahadur Khadka of CPN (Maoist Center) have won the election.
PANCHTHAR: MAY. 16 – Candidates of the ruling coalition have won both the posts of chairperson and vice-chairperson of Kummayak Rural Municipality of Panchthar.
Nepali Congress candidate Bam Prasad Lawati and Mahendra Bahadur Khadka of CPN (Maoist Center) have won the election.
Lawati defeated Bhim Prasad Sambahamphe of the CPN (UML) by getting 3057 votes.
Limbu polled 2,900 votes. Khadka of UCPN (Maoist) got 2758 votes while Sita Acharya of UML got 2724 votes.
