UML elected in Biratnagar Metropolitan City-19
Votes are currently being counted in Wards 1, 2, 16, 17, and 18.
BIRATNAGAR: MAY. 16 – Shyam Ghimire of the CPN-UML was elected to the Biratnagar Metropolitan City-19 seat. He was elected with 987 votes.
His nearest rival, Uday Rajbanshi of the Nepali Congress, polled 905 votes.
At the same time, ward chairperson results have begun to arrive within the Biratnagar Metropolitan City.
Votes are currently being counted in Wards 1, 2, 16, 17, and 18.
