RPP as mayor of Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan, NC’s lead as deputy mayor

KATHMANDU: MAY. 15 – RPP candidate Deepak Singh has taken the lead in the Hetauda Sub-Metropolitan constituency of Chitwan with 9029 votes so far.

The RPP candidate for Sub-Metropolitan Mayor leads with 2710 votes in the Halo (Plough) symbol, while the UCPN-M candidate is second with 2669 votes in the Pen symbol. In the Sun symbol, the UML candidate got 2434 votes.

In addition, the Nepali Congress leads in the race for deputy mayor of the Sub-Metropolitan. Following the Congress, the CPN-UML got 3016 votes in the sun symbol, while the Congress got 3982 votes in the tree symbol.

Similarly, the RPP, which led the mayoral race, has slipped behind the deputy mayor. RPP got 803 votes for the post of deputy mayor.
