NC leading by a wide margin in Biratnagar

BIRATNAGAR: MAY. 15 – The Nepali Congress has maintained its lead in Biratnagar Metropolitan City, with 837 votes.

According to the Office of the Chief Electoral Officer, Nagesh Koirala of the Nepali Congress got 3060 votes, while Sagar Thapa of the CPN-UML got 2223 votes.

Independent Lantern got 1,140 votes as well.

Shilpa Karki of the CPN-UML got 2537 votes, while Amarendra Yadav of the JSP got 1745 votes.

Binda Kumari Luintel of the RPP got 660 votes as well.
