NC leader beats voters for not voting

JUMLA: MAY. 15 – Leaders of Jumla Nepali Congress Party have beaten voters for not voting.

Roop Bahadur Rokaya, a Nepali Congress-nominated candidate from Chandannath Municipality-8, has beaten the voters.

Rokaya beat Kumar Bikram Shahi and Kamal Bohora of the same village for not voting.

According to the victim, Rokaya beat them and accused them of defrauding him by not voting.

Shahi was injured in the incident and was transferred to the Karnali Institute of Health Sciences Teaching Hospital for treatment.

A police complaint has been filed against Rokaya.
