Renu’s lead maintained, with Bijay trailing by 80 votes in Bharatpur

KATHMANDU: MAY. 15 – Renu Dahal, the Maoist center’s mayoral candidate in Bharatpur Metropolitan City, has maintained his lead.

Out of 4877 votes counted so far, Dahal is at the top with 1727 votes.

UML candidate Bijay Subedi has got 1647 votes. He is 80 votes behind Renu.

Similarly, UML-RPP alliance candidate Bijay Subedi got 1647 votes.

Congress rebel Jagannath Poudel got 579 votes.

Chitrasen Adhikari got 1859 votes from the coalition for the post of deputy mayor.

Similarly, RPP’s Himala Gurung got 1333 votes.
