Joklal Budha re-elected as chairperson of Baglung Taman Khola

POKHARA: MAY. 15 – Joklal Budha has been re-elected as the chairperson of Baglung district’s Taman Khola Rural Municipality.

Joklal Budha has won the post for the second time after defeating Maoist candidate Dev Bahadur Pun.

Joklal got 2707 votes, while Maoist candidate Pun got 1995 votes. Chairperson Budha’s term as mayor will be extended as a result of the victory.

Similarly, Hira Kumari Chhantyal of the Nepali Congress defeated Ishu Rasaili of the Maoists to become the Municipality’s Vice-Chairperson.
