KATHMANDU: MAY. 15 – So far, the results of 24 local level elections have been made public.
The CPN (UML) has won in the majority of municipalities.
So far, the UML has won ten seats, and the CPN-UML is in the lead.
Likewise, the Nepali Congress has won nine of the major elections.
The UCPN (Maoist) is second after winning three municipal chiefs, while the CPN (Unified Socialist) is third after winning two municipal chiefs.
The Unified Socialists won two rural municipalities with no opposition.
