2 days of leave per week beginning today

KATHMANDU: MAY. 15 – To reduce fuel consumption, the government has granted two days of leave per week.

According to a decision made by the Council of Ministers last Baisakh (April/May), leave will be implemented two days per week beginning today.

Sunday, along with Saturday, will now be a holiday under the new arrangement.

According to the Ministry of Home Affairs, office hours on other days will be from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.

From November 2 to January 29, office hours will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., according to the ministry.
