DHANGADHI: MAY. 14 – Gopal Hamal, the independent candidate for mayor of Dhangadhi Sub-Metropolitan, has increased his vote margin. Nrip Bahadur Oad is 609 votes ahead of Congress candidate from Hamal Alliance.
A total of 3,153 votes were cast, with Hamal gaining 1,472 of them. Oad got 863 votes for Congress. Similarly, Ran Bahadur Chand of the CPN-UML got 154 votes.
Maoist Central Shanti Adhikari got 768 votes, while independent candidate Prabhakar Bhandari got 511 votes.
Ward 19 votes are currently being counted alongside ward 1 votes.
