Keshav Maharjan of NC been elected as ward chairperson of Bharatpur-1
Keshav Maharjan, a candidate from the alliance, won with 1,397 votes.
CHITWAN: MAY. 15 – Nepali Congress has made a victorious start in the ward chairperson of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-1.
Keshav Maharjan, an alliance candidate, got1,397 votes.
His closest rival, CPN-UML candidate Shukra Kumar Shrestha, got 1,313 votes.
The Nepali Congress had also won the local level election in the ward in 2074 BS.
