Balen is ahead by a thousand votes, followed by Keshav

KATHMANDU: MAY. 15 – Balen Sah, an independent candidate, has been gaining votes in Kathmandu Metropolitan City. He is 1,030 votes ahead of UML mayoral candidate Keshav Sthapit.

Sah got 2,457 votes, while Sthapit got 1,427 votes.

Sirjana Singh, a Nepali Congress candidate from the ruling coalition, finished third with 1,168 votes.

The counting of votes in Kathmandu’s wards 1, 2, 3, 4, and 32 has been completed.
