Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson win at Gulmi Durbar Rural Municipality

KATHMANDU: MAY. 15 – Nepali Congress Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson has been elected as the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson of Gulmi Durbar Rural Municipality of Gulmi.

According to the tally on Sunday morning, Saroj Thapa won the election by 564 votes and Tara Thapa Dhenga won the election by 777 votes.

Bijayi Thapa got 6,166 votes while her nearest rival Krishna Bahadur Bhusal of UML got 5,602 votes. While Dhenga got 6,277 votes for the post of Vice-Chairperson, her rival Shusila Pun of UML got 5,500 votes.
