Congress maintain the lead in Itahari mayor & UML maintain the lead in deputy mayor

ITAHARI: MAY. 15 – The coalition has maintained the lead in Sunsari’s Itahari Sub-Metropolitian. Coalition candidate

Coalition candidate Hemkarna Poudel got 1927 votes, while CPN-UML candidate Yam Kumar Subba got 1427 votes.

Similarly, in the Deputy Chief, the CPN-UML has maintained its lead.

Sangita Chaudhary Tharu of the UML got 1543 votes, while Keshav Kumar Bista of the coalition got 1266 votes.

Votes are being counted in Itahari’s Wards 1, 2, 19, and 20.
