Congress leads in mayor & UML in deputy mayor
Umesh Yadav got 483 votes while RPP's Prahdal Prasad Sah got 272 votes.
BIRATNAGAR: MAY. 15 – Nagesh Koirala of Nepali Congress has maintained the lead in Biratnagar Metropolitan City.
According to the most recent poll results, CPN-UML candidate Sagar Kumar Thapa got 1,080 votes.
Similarly, independent candidate Umesh Yadav got 483 votes, while RPP candidate Prahdal Prasad Sah got 272 votes.
Shilpa Karki got 1212 votes for deputy mayor, while Amarendra Yadav of the JSP got 887 votes.
Independent candidate Namita Neupane got 272 votes, while RPP candidate Bindakumari Luitel Acharya got 317 votes.
