Congress leads in Biratnagar mayor & UML in deputy mayor

BIRATNAGAR: MAY. 15 – Nagesh Koirala of Nepali Congress has maintained the lead in Biratnagar Metropolitan City. According to the latest poll results, CPN-UML’s Sagar Kumar Thapa got 959 votes.

Independent candidate Umesh Yadav got 380 votes while RPP’s Prahdal Prasad Sah got 219 votes.

While Shilpa Karki got 1082 votes for the post of deputy mayor, Amarendra Yadav of JSP is following with 735 votes.

Independent candidate Namita Neupane got 254 votes while RPP’s Bindakumari Luintel Acharya got 259 votes.
