UML panel wins in Gokarneshwor 2

KATHMANDU: MAY. 15 – Madhu Tamang of the CPN-UML was elected chairperson of Kathmandu’s Gokarneshwor Municipality Ward No. 2 with 1207 votes.

Sudip Pandit of the Nepali Congress came in second with 827 votes. In that ward, the UML panel was victorious.

Previously, in the 2074 BS local elections, RPP-Nepal had won the ward chairperson in this ward.

Following the counting of votes in Ward No. 2, the UML candidate has taken the lead for mayor and deputy mayor.
