Balen maintains his lead, while Sirjana Singh is third in Kathmandu

KATHMANDU: MAY. 15 – Balen Sah, an independent candidate for mayor of Kathmandu Metropolitan City, has maintained his lead. When 3,627 votes were counted, he is ahead with 357 votes.

According to the most recent results, Sah got 1228 votes, while Keshav Sthapit, the CPN-UML mayoral candidate, got 871 votes and is trailing him. Sirjana Singh, the coalition’s mayoral candidate, got Sunita 699 votes.

Sunita Dangol, the UML’s deputy chief candidate, has 602 votes, while Rameshwar Shrestha, the coalition’s deputy chief candidate, has 126 votes.
