With 583 votes, Balen’s lead is still intact

KATHMANDU: MAY. 14 – Balendra Sah, an independent candidate from Kathmandu Metropolitan City, has led from the start.

He had got 583 votes as of 8:40 p.m. Similarly, his nearest rival, UML’s Keshav Sthapit, got 488 votes.

According to the Election Commission, Nepali Congress candidate Sirjana Singh received 340 votes.

The counting of votes continues.
